专家简介
Prof. Ting Xie is Kerry Holdings Professor of Science, Chair Professor, and the head of the Division of Life Science, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His main research areas include stem cell biology and eye degenerative diseases. He is one of the leaders and pioneers in studying stem cell niches. Dr. Xie has published over 70 articles, most of which are in high-profile journals, including Science, Nature, Cell, Cell Stem Cell and PNAS. He received Hudson Award in 2003 and has been serving on the scientific advisory board of The Glaucoma Foundation and the Y-LOT Foundation as well as on the editorial board of Cell Research, Development, and ten other scientific journals.
