刘明兮,男,博士,国家重大人才工程青年学者。2008年攻读南京医科大学生殖医学专业博士,师从沙家豪教授、周作民教授;2012年10月加入加拿大McGill University美国男科学会会长Bernard Robaire院士实验室从事博士后研究。人类精子计划发起人,解析生精细胞染色质重塑与头部变形的关键分子机制,揭示精子鞭毛轴丝组分、功能及其附属器组装核心机制:包括阐明轴丝亚组分N-DRC、RS在精子轴丝的新功能和作用机制,发现精子关键新细胞结构刘明兮囊泡(MXL Vesicles)和线粒体胶,发现并定义弱精子症的最大亚型MIVA。作为通讯作者(含共同)在《Cell》、《Nature Structural & Molecular Biology》、《PNAS》、《Nature Communications》、《Science Advances》、《Cell Research》、《Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy》、《Science Bulletin》等权威期刊发表系列论文。2018-2021生殖研究学会(The Society for the Study of Reproduction,SSR)出版委员会成员(唯一中国成员)。担任《Biology of Reproduction》、《Journal of Reproduction and Development》编委。主持国家重点研发计划课题1项,国家自然科学基金面上项目5项、江苏省杰出青年基金1项,江苏省优秀青年基金1项,获2015年国家科技进步奖二等奖, 2021年全国妇幼健康科学技术奖自然科学奖一等奖。第七届全国大学生基础医学创新研究暨实验设计论坛最佳学术奖及全国大赛金奖指导教师。
