夏彦恺，二级教授，博导，南京医科大学副校长，科研院院长，国家重大人才工程特聘教授，国家优青，教育部新世纪优秀人才，国家重点研发计划项目首席科学家。环境与人类健康国家级国际联合研究中心副主任，全球健康中心常务副主任。生殖医学与子代健康全国重点实验室PI。

长期从事环境与健康相关研究，在领域权威期刊Nat Genet、The Innovation、Environ Health Persp、J Adv Res、Environ Sci Technol、Gut Microbes等发表论著200余篇，多篇文章为ESI高被引论文和爱思唯尔高下载热点论文，H指数58；获国家发明专利6件；获国家科学技术进步奖二等奖、省部级科技进步奖一等奖、教育部霍英东青年教师奖等。主持国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国际（地区）合作与交流项目（NSFC-NIH）、联合基金项目-重点支持项目等十余项国家级项目。担任国家卫生应急体系建设指导专家，国家食品安全风险评估委员会委员，全国公共卫生与预防医学名词审定委员会委员，中华预防医学会、中国医促会等多个分会副主委。
